Rules for using GCX during beta

Last updated August 23, 2026. Beta notice: these terms describe GCX's current editorial, database, community, sponsor, and waitlist use. They are not a final transaction marketplace agreement.

Beta Scope

GCX is still preparing its public account, moderation, sponsor, and marketplace systems. These terms are intended to explain current use of the site and should be replaced or reviewed before public transaction features launch.

Editorial and Database Use

GCX content is provided for information, discovery, collection research, and community discussion. Game, card, console, price, and availability information can change, and readers should verify important purchase decisions with official publishers, manufacturers, retailers, grading services, or marketplace providers.

Images, Artwork, and Third-Party IP

GCX covers games, trading cards, entertainment products, publishers, manufacturers, and creators that own their own trademarks, copyrights, artwork, logos, screenshots, packaging, and product images. When GCX has not confirmed an approved usage path, the site may use card-shaped placeholders, metadata, editorial descriptions, attribution, and source links instead of reproducing the underlying image.

References to games, cards, consoles, publishers, or brands are for identification, editorial coverage, cataloging, and collection research. GCX is not affiliated with or endorsed by those owners unless a relationship is clearly stated.

Community Rules

Members may not use GCX to harass others, spam, impersonate people or brands, upload rights-infringing material, promote scams, coordinate off-platform fraud, or post misleading marketplace claims. GCX may hide, review, or remove content that creates safety, legal, or trust issues.

Sponsor Content

Sponsored placements should be labeled, reviewed before publication, and separated from editorial judgment. Sponsors do not receive control over GCX reviews, guides, source labels, or newsroom conclusions.

Marketplace Status

Trading, selling, payment processing, and listing publication are not live. Any waitlist submission is interest only and does not create a listing, sale, trade, shipping obligation, seller relationship, escrow relationship, payment instruction, or buyer/seller contract.

Future Marketplace Rules

Before real transactions open, GCX must publish listing standards, prohibited-item rules, condition requirements, seller verification, fees, payment processing rules, shipping expectations, dispute intake, refund expectations, fraud handling, and support limits.

Changes to These Terms
